By accessing and using DmMate's AI-powered social media automation platform ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. These terms apply to all users of the Service.

DmMate is developed and operated by an independent solo developer. While we strive to provide reliable service, please understand that this is an independently developed application. We are committed to protecting your data and providing quality service within the scope of our resources.

Service Description

DmMate provides AI-powered social media automation services, including but not limited to:

• AI-driven lead detection and qualification from social media interactions
• Social media account management and engagement automation
• Analytics and reporting on AI-generated interactions
• Integration with Instagram Business accounts and Facebook Pages
• Automated responses to comments and mentions across connected platforms

Our AI systems are designed to enhance your social media presence while maintaining authentic engagement with your audience.

Social Media Platform Permissions

When you connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts to DmMate, you grant us specific permissions to access and manage your accounts. Here's exactly what we access and why:

• **Instagram Basic Access**: We access your basic Instagram Business profile information to identify your account
• **Instagram Comment Management**: We can create, delete, and hide comments on your Instagram posts, and respond to comments where you're mentioned
• **Facebook Pages List**: We can see the Facebook Pages you manage to connect them with your Instagram Business account
• **Page Engagement Data**: We read engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares) to provide analytics and improve our AI responses
• **Page Content Access**: We read content posted on your Pages to understand context for better AI responses
• **Page Metadata Management**: We may update basic Page information as needed for our service integration
• **Business Management**: We access your business assets to properly connect your Instagram Business account with your Facebook Page

We only use these permissions to provide our automated comment response service. We do not post content, access private messages, or perform any actions beyond comment management and analytics.

User Accounts & Data Access

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify DmMate of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security.

By connecting your social media accounts, you grant DmMate permission to access and process your social media data through our AI systems in accordance with the permissions you provide and our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use & AI Guidelines

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts. You are prohibited from:

• Violating any local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Using our AI to generate spam, harassment, or inappropriate content
• Attempting to manipulate or deceive our AI systems
• Using the Service to impersonate any person or entity
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Using our AI to create content that violates Meta's Community Standards or Terms of Service
• Engaging in any activity that could harm DmMate's reputation or operations
• Using the service to violate Instagram's or Facebook's Terms of Service

AI System Limitations & Disclaimers

While our AI systems are designed to provide intelligent automation, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated responses may not always be perfect or contextually appropriate
• You are responsible for monitoring and reviewing AI-generated content
• Our AI systems continuously learn and improve, but may make errors
• Lead detection accuracy, while high, is not guaranteed to be 100%
• You should review and approve AI-generated content when possible
• AI performance may vary based on data quality and platform changes
• As a solo-developed service, response times for issues may vary

DmMate provides AI tools to assist with social media management, but the final responsibility for content and engagement remains with you. You should regularly monitor your connected accounts.

Data Usage & Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Here's how we handle your data:

• **Comment Data**: We access your Instagram comments and Page engagement data solely to provide automated responses and analytics
• **Profile Information**: We store basic profile information from connected accounts to maintain service functionality
• **Analytics Data**: We may use aggregated and anonymized data to improve our AI models and service quality
• **No Personal Data Sales**: We never sell your personal data or follower information to third parties
• **Secure Storage**: All data is stored securely and encrypted in transit and at rest
• **Limited Retention**: We only retain data as long as necessary to provide our service
• **Meta Compliance**: All data usage complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Data Policy

You retain ownership of your content and data. DmMate acts as a processor of this data to provide you with our Services. You can request data deletion at any time by contacting us.

Meta Platform Compliance

• AI-generated content is provided as a tool - you remain responsible for all content posted to your accounts

We work hard to provide a quality service, but as a solo developer, we have limitations in resources and capacity. We appreciate your understanding and will do our best to address any issues promptly.
